DESCRIPTION: Infection of Vibrio spp. (common name as Luminescent Vibrio) is the common bacterial pathogen of cultured shrimp. It appears to establish lethal infections following primary infection with other pathogens, environmental stress, nutritional imbalance, and predisposing lesions. It has a fast speed in spreading disease, is highly infectious, and high mortality rate, which has made this disease one of the most damaging diseases.

The NEGTIVORE (Bdellovibrio bacteriovorus), is bacterivorous against the pathogen responsible for luminous vibriosis, especially in marine shrimp hatcheries. It belongs to the Harveyi clade, which is composed of various Vibrio species, including V. harveyi, V. campbellii, V. alginolyticus, V. rotiferianus, V. parahaemolyticus, V. natriegens, V. mytili, and V. azureus.

MODE OF ACTION:  Bdellovibrio and like organisms (BALOs) are obligate predatory bacteria that selectively prey on a broad range of Gram-negative bacteria, including multidrug-resistant human pathogens. It typically invades the periplasm of rod-shaped bacteria, modifies the prey cell so that it rounds up into a sphere known as a bdelloplast, kills the prey cell, and replicates within it.

USES: NEGTIVORE is a special biological agent, used in aquaculture as a potential therapeutic and biocontrol agent against a broad range of Gram-negative bacteria, including vibrio spp. and multidrug-resistant pathogens. Specially recommended to use when there is prognostic propagation of Luminous Vibrio.

CAUTION: When using, do not use any other antibiotics or disinfectant together.

USAGE & DOSAGE:

Hatchery/Larval/Post Larval Tank: Apply in water or mix with feed. Apply 0.8 – 1 ppm, once every day. Usable from Zoea stage. If desired filter through a suitable mesh net.

Shrimp/Fish/Crab Grow-out Pond: Use 60-100 grams of NEGTIVORE per acre area with 1 meter of water depth, dilute it with water, and sprinkle it in the whole pond.

*Cemented pond: use at a rate of 0.8-1 ppm of the total water volume.

*Internal purification: mix 1g of NEGTIVORE with 1kg feed.

*When Vibrio breaks out, use a disinfectant like ECOSAN or VIBACIDE first. After 24 hours, use this product twice, once every 48 hours.

*As a routine biological disinfectant, use it once a week with the dose halved.

STORAGE: Store at room temperature below 40℃ for 24 months.
